About the Role

Own features end-to-end across our client products — from database schema to polished UI. You will work in a small senior team, ship to production weekly, and mentor engineers coming up behind you. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning the whole slice of a product, not just a layer of it.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Feature Delivery

  • Design, build, and ship full-stack features across React frontends and Node.js services.

  • Lead technical design discussions and translate product requirements into pragmatic architectures.

  • Break large initiatives into shippable increments that clients can see and steer along the way.

Backend & Data

  • Own database design, API contracts, and query performance for the features you build.

  • Design secure, well-documented REST and GraphQL APIs consumed by web and mobile clients.

  • Integrate third-party services and internal systems without leaking complexity into the UI.

Frontend Craft

  • Build responsive, accessible interfaces that stay true to the design intent.

  • Implement and extend shared component libraries and design systems across projects.

  • Profile and optimize rendering, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals.

Team & Quality

  • Review code, mentor mid-level engineers, and raise the quality bar across the team.

  • Work directly with clients and product managers to scope and de-risk upcoming work.

  • Contribute to shared tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering standards.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years building production web applications, with at least 2 years on React and Node.js.

  • Strong TypeScript skills and comfort designing REST or GraphQL APIs.

  • Solid relational-database experience (PostgreSQL preferred) — schema design, indexing, query tuning.

  • A track record of owning features end-to-end in an agile, client-facing environment.

  • Clear written and spoken communication — you can explain trade-offs to non-engineers.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code.

  • Exposure to LLM-powered features (chat, RAG, agents) in production.

  • Prior work at an agency or IT-services company juggling multiple codebases.
